2 months agoThey don’t want your business. Just went there for a burger. Got instantly kicked out because their janky 1980 ID scanner didn’t work on my real ID. Don’t know what else to say.

4 months agoI use to live in Hawley pat's bar was my favorite place to relax and have a good time. I'm sure it's still a great place to go to relax and enjoy a cold drink in a outstanding atmosphere with friendly people. I miss them so much. Wayne

8 months agoPat’s is a local gem. Friendly bartender, a good local crowd, super clean and good bar food after everything else is closed. Sad we found this on our last night in town. 100% would recommend.

9 months agoUnfortunately I don’t like writing bad reviews for small town businesses, especially one that’s a staple for Hawley. But this is pretty bad to warrant a negative review. Tried to meet friends for drinks there, but The system they use does not scan out of state licenses or federal Identification. So although my husband both had his Real ID FL license and his military spouse ID, he was totally denied service, and was told he can’t even be in the bar. Unfortunately they lost customers tonight because of it. While I understand PA licenses have to be scanned, it is a huge flaw that they don’t scan any other ID’s, especially those that you can even fly through airports and enter federal property with. For a town that relies heavily on tourism in the summertime, I feel that it’s a massive flaw to not accept out of state licenses.

9 months agoThis is a true small town bar. Well kept, dirty cheap prices, just the right amount of attitude from the servers. We didn’t order any food but multiple people there touted how good it was. Would recommend to anyone traveling through.

a year agoI prefer a good burger in a divey little spot like this for <$10 than some fancy waygu beef monstrosity topped with things I can’t pronounce for $30. Definitely a place you should check out if you’re in the Poconos. The burger and Italian sausage are both AMAZING here, and grilled right in front of you by an awesome bartender.
